
With Diablo 4 approaching its June 6 release date, many players have found themselves returning to Diablo 3. It wasn't until Reaper of Souls released that Diablo 3 finally found its footing, and its seasonal format has allowed the game to stay fresh and relevant for several years since. Though Diablo 3 had a commercially successful launch, many Diablo fans were upset about the game's initial direction, especially regarding its controversial real money auction house.


Diablo 3 is passing the torch to Diablo 4, as Blizzard Entertainment announces what is likely to be the game's final season before the sequel officially becomes Diablo's flagship title.
